Business and golf were at the centre of Angus Council’s 2011 Tartan Day activities. While dozens of community run events brought tartan week celebrations into Angus burghs last week, the Council was focused on Tartan Day’s business opportunities.

International Golf Field Plays Carnoustie Country as Part of Tartan Day Scotland Celebrations

The Tartan Day International Golf Challenge teed off in Angus yesterday (Monday 4 April). 54 golfers from China, South Africa and the UK are taking part in the 2011 tournament which is played over the prized golf courses of Montrose, Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles.
