Tartan Day is a celebration of Scotland, so enjoy the very best of Scottish golf and the warmest Scottish hospitality in the prestigious Tartan Day Scotland International Golf Challenge, hosted by Carnoustie Country between 31 March and 7 April 2012.
Experience the thrill and excitement of competing in the game's ancient heartland. Play four rounds of golf over some of the best courses in the world, two Open Championship venues – St Andrews Old Course and Carnoustie Championship, the James Braid designed Gleneagles King's Course and Montrose, the 5th oldest and arguably one of the finest links courses in the world.
As well as testing your golfing skills on the pick of Scotland's courses, experience all that is best about Scotland. Enjoy a grand banquet in Glamis Castle's regal apartments, attend a spectacular 'beat the retreat' ceremony with a traditional pipe band, sample the finest malt whiskies and walk in the footsteps of Scottish Kings and Queens with a visit to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city and its imposing castle.
The exclusive Tartan Day International Golf Challenge includes the following;
- All transport (excluding flights)
- Seven nights bed and breakfast in luxury accommodation (based on two adults sharing a twin room – single supplement available)
- Four rounds of golf over some of the best courses in the world – Montrose, Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St Andrews Old Course as well as an extra round of golf on the Strathtyrum Golf Course in St Andrews
- Lunch and refreshments each golfing day
- Dinner each evening, except Saturday (arrival day) and Thursday (free time in St Andrews)
